MEP Design BIM Modeller
Summary
Construct and update 3D BIM models using Autodesk REVIT for MEP designs, perform clash detection, and produce M&E service drawings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams at a construction firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Construct and update 3D BIM models using Autodesk REVIT to reflect the latest design information and ensure drawing accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design changes and resolve model challenges
- Prepare BIM models to support visualization and enable informed decision-making based on design updates
- Ensure M&E designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and design specifications
- Produce combined M&E services drawings, builders work drawings, and detailed shop drawings aligned with design criteria
- Perform clash detection within BIM models to identify and resolve conflicts proactively
- Adhere to BIM Execution Plans and project workflows to maintain consistent processes and quality
- Follow BIM content standards and development procedures to ensure uniformity and high-quality deliverables
- Document all drawings with proper version control and traceability for project records
- Conduct modelling quality control checks to uphold accuracy and completeness of BIM outputs
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall project success and delivery
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in MEP or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in BIM modelling and M&E design
- Knowledge of Singapore BIM requirements and standards
- Proficient in Autodesk REVIT for BIM modelling and drawing production
- Skilled in AutoCAD for drawing linkage and clean up
- A team player with sense of responsibility
