MEP Designer
Summary
MEP Designer creates and reviews AutoCAD drawings for marine/offshore MEP and HVAC systems, mentors junior designers, and ensures compliance with industry standards for marine/oil & gas projects.
We are seeking a motivated MEP Designer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible
for preparing, detailing, and reviewing MEP and HVAC drawings for a variety of marine and offshore projects,
while guiding junior designers and supporting senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, detail, and review Marine MEP drawings using AutoCAD
- Create, detail, and review Marine HVAC drawings using AutoCAD
- Provide guidance to junior designers in design and drawing tasks.
- Support senior engineers in design and drawing activities.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry codes and regulations.
- Work closely with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil & gas structures.
Requirements
- Diploma/ B.Tech in Marine, Mechanical, Civil Eng., or a closely related discipline.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in design office.
- Strong knowledge of Class rules, regulations, and international standards.
- Proven expertise in MEP & HVAC project within the Marine & Offshore industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced drawing techniques.
- Experience with 3D CAD modelling software is an advantage.
- Exposure to offshore, marine, or oil & gas industries preferred.
