MEP Procurement Engineer
- Receive the project file from the Procurement manager/PMO/TENDER and check all the data to make sure that the contract contains the details and start aggregating the plan.
- Doing the material list for the project and providing the planning department with it to place it in the time program
- To implement the procurement plan with Reported Engineer.
- Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership Study the project documents and break down the project elements to classify these elements into packages.
- Review technical specification, Bill of Quantity and drawings to determine suitable vendors & suppliers.
- Issue RFQ (request for quotation) for Subcontractor/Suppliers for required material.
- Compare between vendors' offers both technically and financially.
- Negotiate with the Subcontractors technically, to make sure that the offer is matching all project requirements as mentioned in the RFQ.
- Prepare a comparative analysis documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and mode of transportation.
- Meet with the (Reported Engineer) procurement manager to discuss the choice of the Subcontractor/Suppliers.
- Coordinate with the site the on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with the Projects for completing the Procurement Schedule.
- Receive purchasing request from site and review quantity and material description.
- Coordinate with site during material delivery and make sure to get MIR approved from consultant engineer.
HSE Duties:
1. Adhere and uphold the HSE procedures and policies established by Redcon.
2. Refrain from any violations of HSE procedures and policies set forth by the Redcon.
