About the Company

Our client is a licensed MEP engineering firm based in Tennessee, delivering complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects across the United States. Every set of drawings is coordinated across all three trades and delivered PE-stamped and permit-ready.

With over 50 years of experience, the firm’s team focuses on precision-driven systems that balance performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. They also provide engineering letters to meet local code requirements, as well as construction guidance and support for contractors.

Their projects span multi-family, offices, warehouses, schools, retail and restaurants, churches, health clinics, and high-rise buildings. Our client believes clear communication is the cornerstone of every successful project and prioritizes proactive collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

They are looking for a full-time Revit Drafter to work directly with their Principal Engineer, producing construction documents for commercial buildings.

  • Build and maintain equipment schedules, details, and sheet layouts according to company standards.
  • Coordinate with architectural and structural models and resolve clashes.
  • Maintain Revit families, templates, and project standards.
  • Complete revisions quickly and accurately during the design and permitting phases.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of drafting or modeling experience with Revit MEP.
  • Hands-on modeling experience in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical.
  • Experience working on U.S. projects, including imperial units, ANSI sheet sizes, and U.S. drawing conventions.
  • Strong written and spoken English for daily communication via email, chat, and video calls.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during U.S. Central or Eastern business hours.
  • Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of running current versions of Revit.

Nice to Have

  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Familiarity with U.S. codes and standards, including IMC, IPC, NEC, and NFPA.
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 worksharing.
