MEP Supervisor
Job purpose
The MEP supervisor leads MEP installation delivery, ensuring safe execution, compliance with design, accurate verification records, and readiness for commissioning and handover.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day MEP installation to ensure workmanship meets drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Plan and sequence works to achieve milestones, monitor progress, productivity and risks to minimize delays.
- Carry out installation verification for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, including materials, routes, supports and terminations.
- Maintain and review inspection and test records; ensure non-conformances are raised and closed with QA/QC support.
- Record and update as-built information and support handover documentation (test certificates, O&M inputs and drawing updates).
Qualifications & requirements
- 3–8 years’ experience in MEP site supervision/foreman roles on medium to large construction projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations, with the ability to read technical drawings and as-built information.
- Proven leadership, organisation and communication skills, with a proactive approach to quality and safety.
- Willingness to travel between sites and support occasional extended hours to meet programme demands.
