Merchandise & Product Development Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and commercially-mindedMerchandise & Product Development Executive to drive the development ofunique and engaging merchandise collections. This role will be responsible foridentifying product opportunities, managing the product development process,coordinating with stakeholders and vendors, and analysing product performanceto support business objectives and enhance visitor/customer experience.

In addition, the role will provide support for websitecontent management and digital content updates.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandise & Product Development

  • Research, conceptualise, and develop new merchandise and product offerings aligned with brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends, visitor demographics, and competitor offerings to identify product opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end product development process from concept creation to launch.
  • Coordinate with vendors, designers, and external partners on product development, production timelines, and quality specifications.
  • Review and evaluate product mock-ups, prototypes, samples, and packaging to ensure quality and brand consistency.
  • Monitor product sales performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and future development.
  • Support merchandise planning and recommend new product ideas based on market trends and business needs.
  • Ensure products meet established quality standards and branding requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of product initiatives.

Website Content & Digital Support

  • Support website migration activities, including content transfer, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Assist in content creation, copywriting, and content updates while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Review, edit, and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to resolve website-related issues.
  • Support ongoing website maintenance, content updates, and post-migration monitoring.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
