Merchandiser Lead

Are you ready to transform a showroom into an inspiration? As our Merchandise Lead, you are the driving force behind the staging and overall aesthetic of our stores. You don't just move furniture; you create environments where customers can envision their future homes. Your creativity and keen eye for detail will play a pivotal role in wowing our guests and elevating our display standards every single day.

Responsibilities:
● Create and maintain an inspirational shopping experience by ensuring the showroom is continuously recovered, remerchandised, and strategically tagged to drive sales.
● Orchestrate the flow of new product shipments and deliveries, ensuring a seamless transition from truck to floor.
● Lead and collaborate with team members to expertly prepare, assemble, and showcase merchandise.
● Empower and direct the porter team, fostering an environment of excellence in showroom cleanliness, organization and back-of-house maintenance.
● Mobilize resources and tools to ensure the merchandising team has everything they need to perform at their best.
● Monitor inventory count and conduct cycle reports to maintain desired stock levels and discover/resolve any discrepancies
● Support special projects, remodels, and corporate merchandising initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
● A background in retail merchandising, design, or other creative industries; we welcome candidates from diverse creative backgrounds.
● Exceptional problem-solving skills and a flair for making quick, impactful decisions.● An energetic self-starter with an obsession for the fine details that make a room "pop."
● Receptive to creative direction and committed to constant growth through feedback.
● Able to take initiative, be self-directed, and use effective time management
● Basic math and computer skills
● Capable of lifting and moving furniture (min. 50lbs) and climbing ladders
● Able to work holidays and occasional overtime and weekends
● Furniture experience preferred but not required
