Merchandising Executive SEA / ANZ

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Merchandising Executive with up to 3 years of experience to support merchandising operations across retail and omni-channel businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for product and pricing uploads into SAP and POS systems, executing auto-replenishment processes for stores, monitoring inventory performance, and providing data-driven insights to support commercial decisions.
This role is ideal for a university graduate with strong systems aptitude, attention to detail, and working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Excel, and data analytics.
ResponsibilitiesMerchandise & System Management

Execute product, pricing, promotion, and inventory uploads into SAP and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
Maintain and validate master data including articles, SKUs, pricing, product hierarchies, and store allocations.
Ensure data accuracy and completeness across business systems.
Coordinate with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations to resolve system or data issues.

Inventory Replenishment & Allocation

Run and monitor automatic replenishment processes to support store sales and inventory requirements.
Review replenishment exceptions and recommend corrective actions.
Support inventory allocation and stock transfers across stores and distribution centers.
Monitor stock availability, sell-through, stock cover, and replenishment effectiveness.

Data Analytics & Reporting

Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
Analyse sales, inventory, product performance, and store productivity metrics.
Generate weekly and monthly merchandising reports with actionable insights.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve sales and inventory productivity.

Commercial & Business Support

Support seasonal launches, promotions, markdowns, and range planning activities.
Assist in forecasting and inventory planning exercises.
Provide ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making.
Participate in projects related to process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancements.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree in: Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / Retail Management / Economics / Statistics / Data Analytics Or related disciplines

Experience

Up to 3 years of experience in Merchandising, Retail Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or Business Analytics.
Experience working in a retail, FMCG, fashion, footwear, or consumer goods environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

Working knowledge of SAP (Article Management, Inventory, Purchasing, or Retail modules preferred).
Experience using POS systems for product and pricing maintenance.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
Experience with Power BI dashboard creation and reporting.
Basic understanding of data analytics, KPI reporting, and inventory metrics.
Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.
