Merchant Support Representative Role (MAS Regulated Fintech Company in Singapore)

Company Overview

Debia is a leading Singapore fintech specializing in digital payment solutions for e-commerce and in-store. Their device supports over 40 payment types, offering seamless application and integration for merchants and partners.

Job Summary

You will deploy and install payment terminals, train merchants, provide technical support, and coordinate with teams to ensure smooth activation and operation of payment devices across Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and install payment terminal devices at multiple locations across Singapore to ensure operational readiness
• Train merchants on device usage and provide clear guidance to resolve faults efficiently
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Expedite resolution of merchant issues and complaints to minimize downtime and maximize satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal departments to activate and test payment terminal devices before deployment
• Provide technical support to customers during and after office hours to ensure continuous service
• Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge related to payment solutions
• Manage travel logistics for site visits, utilizing own transport when available to ensure timely service delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with QR Payment systems and basic Microsoft Office software to support daily tasks
• Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities
• Relationship management skills with openness to feedback for continuous improvement
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Willingness to travel and visit sites regularly for device deployment and support
• Ownership of a two-wheeler for transport is a plus to facilitate site visits
