Summary
Systems Limited (APAC) is hiring a MERN full-stack engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design Node.js/Express backends and RESTful APIs, build React web apps and React Native mobile apps, and optimize MongoDB. The role also covers auth/security, third-party and payment-gateway integrations, code reviews, and collaboration with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end services & RESTful APIs using Node.js & Express.js.
- Own backend logic, data flow, and API integrations.
- Build scalable full-stack web applications using React.js.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native (iOS & Android).
- Design and optimise MongoDB schemas and queries.
- Implement authentication, authorisation, and security best practices.
- Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and notifications.
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams .
- Write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code .
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js & Express.js.
- Solid knowledge of MongoDB and database design.
- Strong front-end experience with React.js.
- Hands-on experience in React Native for mobile app development.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs .
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, and role-based access control.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
