MERN Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic MERN / Full Stack Software Engineer with 5+ years of proven professional experience to join our Software Development team.

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly competent team working on mission-critical applications and contributing to all phases of the development process. You will be responsible for designing and developing modern full stack applications, supporting business objectives while contributing throughout the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable, maintainable, and efficient software modules.
  
• Design and develop scalable full stack web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and/or Next.js.
  
• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
  
• Ensure designs comply with specifications and that specifications cover all necessary aspects of the implementation.
  
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  
• Provide support for production systems and troubleshoot application issues.
  
• Create and review technical and design documentation and provide feedback on test plans.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
  
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative technologies and presenting recommendations for architectural review.
  

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  
• 5+ years of full-time professional experience designing and developing MERN full stack web applications.
  
• Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  
• Strong experience with popular frontend and backend libraries/frameworks such as React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.
  
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
  
• Experience designing and developing HTTP/REST APIs and web services.
  
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  
• Experience with search, caching, and data technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, and/or Memcached.
  
• Good understanding of database design, data modeling, and application performance.
  
• Working knowledge of Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles.
  
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, testing, and maintainable application architecture.
