About the Role CG Semi is looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Siemens Opcenter MES Technical Architect to provide deep technical leadership across MES, manufacturing integrations, factory automation, and production support. This role will be the senior technical authority for Siemens Opcenter Execution, Connect MOM, PAC/ZNT, MES development, equipment integration, interfaces, database/performance troubleshooting, and 247 manufacturing support. We are looking for someone who can go beyond high-level design and work directly with the technology, troubleshoot complex production issues, guide developers and automation engineers, and challenge Siemens/system-integrator recommendations where needed. Semiconductor/OSAT experience is strongly preferred. Strong EMS/electronics manufacturing candidates with deep Opcenter and factory automation experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical architect and SME for Siemens Opcenter Execution / Camstar.
• Own MES technical architecture, configuration, customization, development, integration, performance, upgrades, and production support.
• Provide hands-on expertise in:
• Opcenter modeling
• Designer
• Portal Studio
• Business rules
• Manufacturing workflows
• WIP / routing / transactions
• Custom development
• Design, build, and support Connect MOM integrations.
• Lead integration across:
• MES ERP
• MES Equipment
• MES PAC / EAP
• MES Test systems
• MES Quality / SPC
• MES Warehouse / Materials
• MES Engineering / Data platforms
• Provide deep technical support for PAC/ZNT, SECS/GEM, EAP, CIM, and equipment integration.
• Troubleshoot issues across:

MES Database Integration PAC/EAP Equipment Infrastructure

• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring production-impacting issues and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Establish technical standards for development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Build technical runbooks and improve proactive monitoring and observability.
• Mentor MES developers, support engineers, and factory automation resources.
• Support critical 247 manufacturing incidents and act as the senior technical escalation point.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related discipline.
• Approximately 10+ years of MES / manufacturing systems experience.
• Significant hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution / Camstar.
• Strong experience in MES configuration, customization, development, and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Connect MOM.
• Hands-on PAC / ZNT experience.
• SECS/GEM and factory equipment integration.
• CIM / EAP architecture.
• MES-to-ERP integration with Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of MES architecture, databases, middleware, and manufacturing interfaces.
• Experience troubleshooting production-critical MES environments.
• Ability to independently diagnose complex technical issues and guide technical teams.

Preferred Experience

• Semiconductor / OSAT experience strongly preferred.
• Semiconductor assembly, packaging, wafer sort, burn-in, final test, or advanced packaging.
• Strong EMS / electronics manufacturing experience also considered.
• Test-system integration.
• SPC / QMS / PLM integration.
• Manufacturing traceability and genealogy.
• Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing.
• Greenfield factory, MES migration, factory ramp, or upgrade experience.
• Knowledge of ISA-95 / Level 2–3–4 manufacturing architecture.

• Hands-on technically, not just a project or program manager.
• Comfortable working directly with configurations, logs, code, interfaces, databases, and production systems.
• Technically strong enough to guide and mentor MES developers and automation engineers.
• Able to troubleshoot across MES, database, middleware, PAC, equipment, and infrastructure layers.
• Capable of challenging Siemens, ZNT, system integrators, and equipment vendors technically.
• Strong in root-cause analysis and permanent problem resolution.
• Experienced in 247 manufacturing environments.
• Able to build internal technical capability and reduce vendor dependency.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior Siemens Opcenter hands-on architect who understands both the MES software stack and the factory automation environment. The strongest profile will combine: Opcenter + Connect MOM + PAC/ZNT + SECS/GEM + Development + Integration + Database/Troubleshooting + Manufacturing Domain Knowledge
