METAL PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Metal Production Manager to lead our metal fabrication production operations. You will be responsible for material planning, organizing production workflow, and managing the production team, and ensuring jobs/ projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculation material requirements from engineering drawings and optimize material usage.
• Plan and organize daily production schedules and worksflow to meet delivery deadlines.
• Manage production workers, allocate tasks, and monitor producitvity and workmanship.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and subcontractors to smooth execution of projects till job handover.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, quality and house keeping standards.
• Monitor production performance and drive continuos improvement in productivity, effiicency, and cost control.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural steel, sheet metal or metal fabrication/ manufacturing.

* Proven experience in material calculation, production planning, workflow organization, and managing production teams.

* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform accurate material take-offs.

* Experience managing factory operations and meeting production schedules.

* Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong knowledge of workplace safety and quality control practices.
