This is a formal Air Force intern position, established under the PALACE ACQUIRE (PAQ) program; as such, it is centrally managed and funded by the Air Force Personnel Center, Civilian Career Management Directorate and administered by the Weather Career Program, HQ AFPC/DPZ, 550 C Street, Randolph AFB Texas 78150.

In a developmental capacity serve as a professional meteorologist in the organization for meteorological issues affecting the organization's ability to accomplish its mission. - Performs recurring developmental work assignments. - In a developmental capacity, participates in special initiatives, studies and projects. - Participates in meetings, assists with presentations and prepares routine correspondence. - Prepares written correspondence and other documentation.
