METROLOGY ENGINEER
Summary
Designs and maintains precision measurement processes for manufacturing, calibrates equipment to ISO 17025, and trains teams on inspection methods using GD&T and CMM tools.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Review the measurement/ testing requirement and method for new drawing.
2) Create MSOP for New Product Introduction and existing products.
3) Train Technicians/Inspectors on the use of the measurement/testing equipment and established MSOP.
4) Maintain and calibrate the measurement/test equipment as per ISO 17025 requirements
5) Design and fabricate a jig for measurement/test purposes.
6) Source, review, and recommend new measurement/test equipment.
7) Perform MSA – GRR and correlation （Internal and external with customer）
8) FA measurement
QUALIFICATION
1) Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Material /QA Engineering or with relevant industry experience
2) Knowledge & experience in GD&T as per ASME Y14.5
3) Practical knowledge of OMM and CMM. Able to do programming.
4) Min 2 years working experiences in similar capacity.
