About the Position:
We are looking for a [MFE Manager] to join the [MFE Department + PS] team, reporting directly to the [Plant Manager].
This position is based at our office in [Hefei].
As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be responsibleTo manage manufacturing perimeter including capacity increase, process development and improvement in mass production and support new products industrializations by leading a team of people and defining the profile and the mission.
Your Responsibilities will be:
1. To direct and to oversee all aspects of the engineering process and manufacturing engineer objectives and initiatives for Plant development.
2. Responsibility for the design, layout, testing and evaluation of mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
3. Work constantly with product department, quality and maintenance personnel in order to prevent potential technical issues regarding products and tooling.
4. Carry out problem solving activities and pro-active improvements for new and existing products;
5. Ensure technical instructions, weights and dimensions available for all products and parts, standardized wherever possible.
6. Support PLM for the RFQ on time.
7. To manage process and product conformity audits and to eventually undertake counteraction.
8. Primary Cost Analysis, Budget Plan Management and workflow initiative implementation
9. Competence development and capacity planning of MFE team.
10. Ensure standard basic data system for the plant, such as standard CT, BOM…
11. Responsible for MMS(Marelli Manufacturing System) & GKD(Genba Kanri Diagnosis) tasks implementation inside departments.
12. Other tasks assigned by Plant Manager.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Automation/Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in team management.
- Experienced in assembly processes for automotive components, it’s a plus to have knowledge and experience in machining, injection, laser welding, honing, etc.
- project management experience practically.
- Familiar with lean manufacturing practice, equipment layout, material flow, process & engineering.
- Previous experience as Process Engineering Manager/Manufacturing Manager or similar positions.
- Familiar with 5 tools (MSA, SPC, FMEA, APQP&PPAP);
- Certificate of PMP is a plus.
- Fluent in both written and oral English.
