Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced microbiologist to join our team in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing and analysis, developing and validating new microbiological methods, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing and analysis on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples
• Develop and validate new microbiological methods
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, EPA, and OSHA
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and quality control
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all testing and analysis
• Participate in laboratory maintenance and equipment calibration
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in microbiology

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory
• Strong knowledge of microbiological testing methods and techniques
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality control
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
