An important company in the technology sector, providing coverage at Barcelona Airport, selects:

Network Technician to carry out these functions, these are field technicians who must have knowledge focused on hardware and the installation of cabling – fiber at the airport.

The tasks, in general, will involve attending to the passive installation, performing everything necessary to guarantee that the state of the network installations is correct, accompanying this with the necessary evolutionary maintenance and performing small expansion installations.

What you'll do

• Maintenance and evolution of the passive network.
• Review of the administration subsystem, vertical and horizontal cabling subsystem, and user subsystem.
• Sanitization and conditioning of the installation.
• Cleaning and conservation of the existing elements in the cabling centers.
• Cabling checks using network analyzers.
• Checking and repairing user outlets.
• Repair and/or replacement of fiber connectors.
• Repair and/or replacement of cabling in poor condition.
• Investigation, localization, and resolution of faults related to the Multi-service Network cabling and the management system for both active and passive cabling.
• User patch cord connectors.
• Equipment connectors, both in the electronics ports and in the user outlets.
• Cable laying from the electronics equipment to new servers in the Data Center.
• Installation of fiber optic runs within the scope of the Data Center
• Integration and configuration of any new equipment added to the local area network system.
• Preparation of specialized cabling for the local area network.

What we're looking for

ESSENTIAL – DRIVING LICENSE VALID IN SPAIN.

Nice to have

Intermediate or higher degree (preferred) in microcomputer network systems or similar.

-Contract: permanent

- Salary: 17,819 euros gross per year

How you'll work

- Schedule: Monday to Friday morning or afternoon (07:00 to 15:00 / 13:00 to 21:00)

- Area: El Prat de Llobregat ( Barcelona Airport )
