Microfinance Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Microfinance Manager to lead our initiatives in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microfinance, with a focus on promoting livelihood opportunities through group lending mechanisms. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to empower communities and enhance financial inclusion. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement microfinance programs that support sustainable livelihoods for low-income groups. - Manage and oversee group loan initiatives, ensuring effective outreach and support to Joint Liability Groups (JLGs). - Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify community needs and tailor financial products accordingly. - Monitor and evaluate the impact of microfinance services on beneficiaries, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness. - Provide training and support to team members and community leaders on best practices in microfinance and group lending. - Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, showcasing program outcomes and financial performance. Required Skills: - Extensive knowledge of microfinance principles and practices. - Strong understanding of livelihood strategies and community development. - Experience working with Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) and group loan structures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities. - Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of successful program implementation.
