We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing, deploying, and testing cloud-native microservices within an enterprise Microservice Platform (MSP). In this role, you will work as part of an Agile product team responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting scalable business services using modern microservice architectures. You will collaborate with architects, business analysts, and global engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions. You will contribute to a strategic enterprise application ecosystem supporting digital sales processes, workflow governance, market analysis, and pricing optimization. The platform consists of multiple cloud-native microservices that integrate with a broader enterprise landscape through secure APIs and event-driven interactions. Responsibilities

• - Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices using Java (Quarkus), Node.js, and/or Python. - Build and consume REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger standards. - Develop containerized applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes-based environments. - Work with established CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitOps practices. - Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, and Keycloak. - Create and execute unit, integration, functional, and performance tests for microservices and APIs. - Troubleshoot production issues and support platform reliability through monitoring and observability tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business capabilities in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Review, validate, and optimize AI-assisted code generated through tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.

SKILLS

Must have

• 3-5 Years Relevant Experience Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required Languages and Frameworks: - Java (21+) - RESTful API development using OpenAPI/Swagger Containerization, Orchestration, and Delivery: - Docker, Kubernetes, Helm (consuming existing charts) - GitLab CI and/or Jenkins pipelines; GitOps with FluxCD Security and Observability: - OAuth2/JWT and Keycloak basics - Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and APM tooling (New Relic or Grafana) Cloud: - AWS and/or Azure experience Testing: - Integration and functional testing of REST APIs - Postman-based API test suite authoring and execution - Performance and load testing AI-Assisted Development: - GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools for code generation and debugging - Ability to review and validate AI-generated code before merging Soft Skills: - Customer-driven and result-oriented focus. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong desire to stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the field. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

- Node.js (Hapi.js), Python (FastAPI/ASGI) - Unit testing within Java, Node.js, or Python ecosystems - Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra - Linux administration and shell scripting - Experience in the E&P / Oil & Gas Domain (Well, Seismic, Production data types)
