Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with over 7 years of experience to spearhead the design and development of a cloud-native data platform leveraging Microsoft Azure. This position involves the integration of data from numerous enterprise systems to build a cohesive, intelligent data ecosystem tailored for diverse business domains.

Main Responsibilities

The primary duties include:

  • Designing and implementing automated data pipelines that integrate over 10 enterprise systems.

  • Developing efficient data models to support analytics and AI-driven insights.

  • Establishing robust data governance frameworks to ensure quality and access control.

  • Enabling AI and analytics through the delivery of structured datasets.

  • Preparing comprehensive technical documentation and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.

Key Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric).

  • Solid experience in Python programming.

  • Strong SQL skills.

  • Expertise with Azure Functions.

  • Experience with Apache Kafka.

  • Knowledge of Docker Containers.

  • Familiarity with Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational).

  • Experience with Multi-Source Data Integration (including SAP BW, SAP HANA, Labware, etc.).

  • Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and Real-Time Data Processing.

  • Skills in Data Governance and Security.

  • Experience with CI/CD and GitHub.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP DataSphere and SAP ERP.

  • Proficiency in performance tuning and ETL/ELT processes.

  • Strong ownership and ability to work independently in delivering end-to-end solutions.
