Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer - Remote in Canada
As a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer you will design, build, and deliver modern data platforms for the clients using the Microsoft data ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ yearsof hands-on data engineering experience, ideally in consulting or client-facing delivery environments.
- Experience designing and building data pipelines, transformations, and data models using SQL and at leastone programming languagesuch as Python.
- Strong workingknowledge of MicrosoftFabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or comparable clouddata platforms.
- Experience with Lakehouse, data warehouse, or medallion architecture patterns.
- Strong SQL skills,including data transformation, troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation.
- Experience with Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, or distributed data processing concepts.
- Ability to work with structured and semi-structured data across multiple source systems.
- Strong understanding of ETL and ELT patterns, batch ingestion, incremental loads, orchestration, and operational data pipelines.
