Microsoft SQL Database Administrator

Your contribution:

• Working in a global Microsoft SQL DB Admin team
• Steer external IT service provider to deliver the expected service with agreed SLAs
• Architect, deploy and, manage hybrid environments (cloud-based + On-Prem) in terms of infrastructure management
• Evaluate new database technologies and shape the future of our database landscape.
• Be accountable for the daily operations of our MSSQL database systems
• Implement security policies / measures for MSSQL databases
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate our On-Prem infrastructure using PowerShell or T-SQL
• Consult software engineers on database design, query optimizations and best practices

Your experience and qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in administration of Microsoft SQL Databases
• Computer Science degree would be considered as +
• PC literacy: MS Office package including Teams
• Comprehensive understanding of database structures, database management, and query performance tuning
• Good knowledge of developing database queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Good knowledge of managing external IT service providers as well as project management
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Skills & willingness to work in international teams & projects
• English skills language on min. B2 level
• Experience working in a larger enterprise
• Postgre SQL database administration experience would be considered as +
