Microsoft Teams & Meeting Room Support IT Engineer (Batu Kawan)

Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 7,500 per month

About the role

Lead UC project rollouts covering Microsoft Teams, Teams-enabled devices, video conferencing, IP telephony, and digital signage. Evaluate and test new UC technologies, devices, software features, and platform updates. Manage the UC technology lifecycle, including upgrades, migrations, standardization, and end-of-life planning. Develop and maintain global UC standards, technical configurations, and deployment guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UC project rollouts covering Microsoft Teams, Teams-enabled devices, video conferencing, IP telephony, and digital signage

• Evaluate and test new UC technologies, devices, software features, and platform updates

• Manage the UC technology lifecycle, including upgrades, migrations, standardization, and end-of-life planning

• Develop and maintain global UC standards, technical configurations, and deployment guidelines

• Collaborate with global IT teams and regional business units to ensure consistent technology deployment

• Coordinate with external vendors on equipment procurement, delivery, installation, and implementation

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT working experience

• Strong technical knowledge of IP telephony and audio-visual conferencing solutions

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms is preferred; experience with Zoom or Cisco Webex is also welcome

• Experience supporting meeting rooms with complex audio-visual systems

• Good understanding of IT components, networking, Windows OS, email systems, and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent English communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with global teams across different time zones

• Project management experience will be an added advantage
