Summary
This role involves participating in the full agile software development lifecycle to build and scale end-to-end systems. The developer will primarily work with ReactJS, NodeJS, and AWS to create reliable APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimised for speed and scale
- Work primarily in ReactJS, NodeJS and AWS
- Engage with inspiring designers and front end engineers, and collaborate with leading back end engineers as we create reliable APIs
- Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferences
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
- 3+ years of experience building large-scale software applications
- Experience building web applications
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Knowledge ReactJS, NodeJS and AWS
- Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
- Unit/integration testing experience
Nice to have:
- Familiarity working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
