Mid Back-end Engineer - Python
- Design and develop scalable back-end services/APIs primarily in Python
- Ensure adequate automation and documentation for architecture and development
- Develop and integrate an observability stack to forecast problems and bottlenecks
- Manage DevOps pipeline to focus on delivering code to production with prior testing
- Handle 3rd party integrations for the backend with a modular approach
- Contribute to the design of software application architecture
- Work with the product manager to drill down high-level requirements to consumable stories
- Make high-level design choices with required analysis for the betterment of the product
- Perform code reviews to develop high-quality code
- Create and manage software development practices to maintain a high standard of code quality
- Ensure the security and data integrity of both application and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Support customers and applications during and after they go live on the product
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Django, Flask, or other Python frameworks
- Experience building REST APIs
- Experience with DynamoDB
- Experience building microservices with tools like Serverless, Lambda, and AWS
- Knowledge of Python libraries for file management and database connectors
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Startup experience
- Experience with React.js
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Node.js
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
