DevOps engineer on Sii's Financing Services Interfaces team in Warsaw, supporting global financing applications: building CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, managing environments, and handling monitoring and incident response. We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our Financing Services Interfaces (FSI) team in Warsaw. In this role, you will collaborate with international teams to develop and operate strategic applications that support financing activities globally. You will focus on improving our development and operational capabilities through automation and continuous delivery while working in an agile environment. This offer requires working from the office in Warsaw three times a week.
Your tasks
Championing DevOps culture and best practices across the team
Building, improving, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Increasing team autonomy through automation and self-service capabilities
Managing and enhancing production and non-production environments
Automating operational and deployment processes using scripting technologies
Ensuring system reliability through monitoring, alerting, resiliency, and operational excellence
Investigating incidents, troubleshooting production issues, and driving root cause analysis
Continuously improving documentation, processes, and operational standards
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar role
Strong programming skills in Java (17+)
Experience with Python and automation scripting
Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD tooling
Good knowledge of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases
Experience in monitoring, alerting, and production support activities
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced level of English and residency in Poland (Warsaw)
Nice-to-have requirements
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
