Mid Forescout Cyber Security Engineer - TS/SCI
Summary
Engineer and maintain secure Windows/Linux systems and IP networks while deploying Forescout CounterACT appliances for federal cybersecurity compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration for Windows or Linux, including troubleshooting, configuration, and security upgrades
- Experience architecting and designing IP networks, developing network topologies
- Knowledge of multi-domain architectures, data centers, WAN, LAN in virtualized environments
- Associate’s degree and 10+ years of supporting IT projects and activities, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years, or Master’s degree and 6+ years
- DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification such as SecurityX, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP
- DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification (CSSP-IS), including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND
- Experience with deployment or maintenance of Forescout CounterACT appliances
- Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, and risk management processes
- Ability to install and deploy Forescout in customer environments
- Ability to integrate cybersecurity data using enterprise or custom tools like Splunk
