Mid Full-stack Engineer - Rails, React

- Our back-end is built in Ruby on Rails. Our front-end is built in React.js and Redux.
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Deep experience with Ruby on Rails
- React.js and Redux experience
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and JSON
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and relational database schema design
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Communication skills in both spoken and written Spanish
- Deep experience with at least one object-oriented programming language and corresponding web framework (Java/Spring, Javascript/Express, Ruby/Rails, Python/Django, C++, C#, etc.)
- Experience building with audio/video technologies (e.g WebRTC)
- Experience building highly concurrent and scalable web applications
- Understanding of performance from the browser/DOM to the database
- Startup experience
- Track record of being a top performer in current and past roles
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
