A mid-level fullstack developer joins an international IT Payments team, writing backend services in Java 11/17 with Spring Boot 3, building Angular frontends, and integrating REST APIs and microservices within an Agile process. The role is hybrid in Portugal (2 office days/week) with occasional travel abroad.

We are looking for a Mid Fullstack Java / Angular Developer to join an international IT Payments team.
MAIN TASKS
- Participate actively in an Agile development team throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Design and develop efficient, reusable, testable, and high-quality code.
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces using Angular.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of microservices-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and technical improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Prepare, deliver, and monitor platform releases in collaboration with other technical teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.
🧩 YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 11/17 and object-oriented programming principles.
- Good knowledge of Spring Boot 3.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Angular, preferably with recent versions.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge of SQL databases, preferably Oracle.
- Knowledge of Maven and Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins.
- Knowledge of XL Deploy / XL Release is a plus.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban and tools such as Jira is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English / minimum B2 level (mandatory).
- French language skills are a plus.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model, with 2 days per week in the office.
- Availability to travel abroad for short periods when required.

- This role offers a gross annual salary between 24.500€ and 38.500€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
