Mid Java Developer

We are looking for a Mid Java Developer (3–5 years of experience) to design and build scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs within a modern tech environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3–5 years of commercial backend development with strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

• Tech Stack:

  • Backend: Java 21+, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, OpenAPI, Vault

  • DevOps & Cloud: Kubernetes (IBM Cloud), Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI/Jenkins, Maven

• Core Skills: Relational databases, RESTful API design/documentation, event-driven architecture, and SCRUM methodology.

• Nice to Have:

  • Basic familiarity with Angular to collaborate effectively with frontend teams.

  • Cloud experience (IBM Cloud/AWS/Azure) or interest/experience in AI/LLM integration.

  • Financial services background or experience in distributed global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Backend & API Development: Design and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java 21+ and Spring Boot.

• Data & Messaging: Manage seamless data flows using relational databases (PostgreSQL) and event-driven architecture (Kafka).

• Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable code backed by comprehensive unit and integration tests, and conduct peer code reviews.

• Delivery & DevOps: Engage in the full SCRUM lifecycle and contribute to the evolution of local CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure.
