Job Description

Technical Skills

  • Planning and execution of monthly closing activities;
  • Analysis and preparation of accounting reconciliations, reports, and financial statements;
  • Seeking continuous process improvements;
  • Support for integration and acquisition projects of new companies (M&As);
  • Use of the Oracle system and Office suite;
  • Advanced Excel;
  • Support in preparing documents for internal and external audits;
  • Desirable knowledge in DataBricks, Python, or Oracle for handling databases.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical and Critical Vision: Ability to go beyond data entry. Interpret numbers, identify flaws, distortions, or opportunities, and suggest improvements.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to interact across other departments.
  • Time and Deadline Management: Work well under pressure during accounting closing periods and meet strict deadlines.
  • Organization: Extra attention to detail to ensure accuracy and avoid major impacts caused by small errors.

Qualifications

  • Higher education degree in Accounting with an active CRC license;
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting practices;
  • Previous experience in the accounting field and its routines (closing, accounting reconciliations, and financial statements);
  • Critical and analytical profile, with a focus on quality delivery;
  • Knowledge of DataBricks | Python for handling databases will be considered a plus;
  • Previous experience in Big Four and with audit processes will be considered a plus;
  • Intermediate English;
  • Advanced Excel;
  • Previous knowledge of Oracle would be a plus.
