Summary
Mid-level Android developer role in São Paulo building and maintaining an Android app with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Day to day: delivering complex features end to end, applying MVVM and Clean Architecture with dependency injection, writing unit/instrumentation tests, doing code reviews, monitoring production, and collaborating with product, design, and engineering.
- Independently develop complex features, from understanding the problem and business requirements through implementation, testing, and production monitoring
- Develop and enhance the Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, creating declarative and reactive interfaces while applying best practices for state management and side effects
- Apply and contribute to architectural decisions using MVVM, Clean Architecture principles, and dependency injection
- Maintain a scalable, testable, and easily maintainable codebase
- Ensure application quality and stability through unit and instrumentation testing, code reviews, bug investigation, monitoring, and continuous performance improvements
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and business teams to define the best solutions
- Participate in technical planning, documentation, and team ceremonies
Requirements
- Experience developing Android applications
- Knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, including state management, events, and side effects
- Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture principles, and dependency injection
- Experience with unit and instrumentation testing
- Knowledge of software development best practices
- Experience with version control using Git/GitHub and code review
- Ability to work autonomously to solve problems
- Ability to translate product and business needs into technical solutions
- Ability to collaborate in an agile environment
- Use of artificial intelligence to drive and accelerate delivery
