Mid-Level Foreign Disclosure Advisor
Responsibilities
Assist the supported Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDOs) with up to 200 monthly classified military information (CMI) disclosures and determinations and assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing the applicable guidance for controlled unclassified information (CUI).
Coordinate with the Theater Disclosure Officer, other combatant commands (CCMDs), governmental agencies, and foreign entities, when required, concerning the disclosure of information.
Provide assistance to all Foreign Disclosure Representatives (FDRs) and United States Forces Global (USFOR-G) staff when questions arise pertaining to foreign disclosure.
Assist subordinate commands and staff personnel with guidance on foreign disclosure policies, procedures, and actions.
Assist in developing and providing USFOR-G foreign disclosure training and other disclosure-related training, when required.
Assist FDO with updating, development, and staffing of all applicable USFOR-G disclosures and disclosure-related policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist USFOR-G staff when required in determining in support of (ISO) disclosure requirements.
Assist in compiling and reporting information on time and when required, in accordance with supported command policies.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and NATO TS.
- Associate’s degree or at least two years relevant security or FDO experience.
- Minimum two years foreign disclosure experience with at least one year in CCMD or Joint Task Force staff.
- Specialized training: completion of DIA Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) FDO course (Tampa).
- Able to work independently with or without supervision, willing to deploy, and work extended hours in a high operational tempo (OPSTEMPO).
- Familiarity with assigned/supported unit area of operation.
- Able to conduct policy research on US classified systems.
- Must be customer oriented.
- Previous experience as an intelligence and/or security analyst is a must.
Desired qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or at least four years relevant intelligence, security, or FDO experience.
- At least three years as an intelligence officer.
- Experience working with NATO or other US-led coalitions.
Compensation details
$100,000.00 - $110,000.00
