Our client, a rapidly growing fintech startup, is looking for a talented Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join their innovative team in Tembisa, Gauteng. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, user-centric web applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring) components.
- Design and manage database schemas and queries (SQL and NoSQL).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Work closely with product managers and other engineers to define application features and technical requirements.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong back-end development experience with languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
- Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, balancing remote and in-office work in Tembisa.
