Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSc or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Active GitHub profile demonstrating personal projects or open-source contributions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.

Core Technical Skills

• Front-end development using React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Back-end development with Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Cognito, CloudFront) and AWS CDK.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, MQL, and aggregation framework.
• Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, pull requests, GitHub Actions, Dependabot, npm, and dependency management.
• Ability to build responsive, accessible, user-friendly applications from UI designs.
• Familiarity with web infrastructure, including HTTP, DNS, and web hosting.

Additional knowledge

• UI component libraries such as Bootstrap, Angular Material, Materialize, or Ionic.
• Cross-browser testing, debugging, and SEO best practices.
• OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• SDLC and CI/CD methodologies.
• Basic use of Photoshop, Adobe XD, or Figma for design adjustments.
• Hybrid mobile app development using React Native, Ionic, or Capacitor.
• Testing methodologies and tools, including unit, integration, end-to-end, load, and accessibility testing (Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, JMeter).

Familiarity / Nice to Have

• Microservices and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• AI technologies and AI-powered applications, including AI-assisted software development for code generation, review, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop new frontend features and backend services while maintaining existing systems.
• Build standardized and reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Write automated tests.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and provide realistic development estimates.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Ensure proper validation of data exchanged between frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain high code quality and application consistency.
