Requirements:- 6+ years of commercial Java development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools in an agile environment
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, or a related discipline
- Banking or financial services experience preferred
- Java certifications or a stockbroking qualification are a bonus
- Excellent communication skills and a methodical, detail-focused approach
- Must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction
- Design and deliver Java components and microservices with Spring Boot to specification and on schedule
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and operations teams to build solutions for the programme
- Uphold and promote the teams Java standards and best practices
- Manage programme work through Azure DevOps within an agile delivery framework
- Help maintain a clean codebase and good source control practices
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Recommend improvements to code quality, processes, and delivery
