Build and maintain web apps and integrations for a fintech consultancy, focusing on financial services APIs and secure development practices.

Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm PHT)
About The Role
Design, build, and maintain software systems supporting operations, including internal platforms, client portals, and integrations with third-party financial services.

Key Areas of Accountability
- Develop and maintain web applications and internal tools
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs (credit bureaus, banking, identity verification, payment systems)
- Write clean, tested, documented code; participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; support system uptime and data integrity
- Work with operations and credit teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to database design, reporting, and workflow automation
- Follow secure development practices appropriate to a financial services environment
Skills & Experience Essential
- 3-5 years commercial software development experience
- Proven high level of AI utilisation in development lifecycle
- Proficiency in at least one modern stack (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#/.NET) plus SQL
- Experience with REST APIs, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Solid understanding of application security and data privacy
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks end-to-end
Desirable
- Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services
- Familiarity with loan origination/management systems or CRM platforms
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing
