Mid-Level Software Developer

Salary: £49,000 - 89,000 per year

• Commercial experience developing applications with PHP
• Good knowledge of Laravel and/or Symfony
• Strong experience working with MySQL
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and/or Alpine.js / Vue.js
• Experience using Git and modern development practices
• A methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
• An understanding of writing clean, maintainable and reliable code
• Experience working with large datasets, analytics platforms, APIs or data-heavy applications would be highly advantageous

• Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP 8, Laravel and/or Symfony
• Working with MySQL and large, complex datasets
• Designing and developing new features and functionality
• Building intuitive and engaging interfaces using HTML, CSS, Tailwind and JavaScript
• Working with JavaScript technologies such as Alpine.js and Vue.js
• Integrating APIs and working with a variety of data sources
• Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical and data-related issues
• Improving application performance, reliability and scalability

We are an established and growing technology business based in Blackpool, Lancashire, offering a full-time, permanent hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
