Mid-Level Software Engineer (Backend)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for backend services.
• Develop and integrate APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) for seamless data exchange.
• Implement and manage database solutions (SQL and NoSQL).
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and robustness.
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and upholding coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection.
• Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORMs.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
• Understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
