Mid-level Software Engineer
Summary
The Mid-level Software Engineer will develop technical solutions, maintain system quality, and collaborate with the engineering team using Clipper, PL/SQL, and Java.
Responsibilities
- Develop medium- to high-complexity technical solutions by implementing software requirements using the technologies involved in the project
- Understand the software architecture and be able to work within it by analyzing its components, organization, and functionality
- Document development stages by recording progress in version control and documentation tools
- Guide and collaborate with the engineering team to find business, architecture, and design solutions through communication and knowledge sharing
- Maintain code and system quality, monitoring, and documentation
- Perform code reviews to ensure code security and scalability
- Identify potential improvement areas and propose solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience developing with Clipper, PL/SQL, and Java
- Knowledge of other programming languages is considered a plus
- Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly and objectively
- Proactive and creative problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
