Mid-Level UI/UX Developer (React Developer)
Summary
Contract (B2B) role via Randstad building and maintaining client-facing portal front-ends for a large financial institution in Warsaw: developing React.js + TypeScript features against a design system, building reusable components, integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, and ensuring WCAG accessibility and performance. Hybrid: 50% central Warsaw office, 50% remote.
For our client, big financial institution, we are seeking a Mid-Level UI/UX Developer with strong React.js expertise to build and
maintain scalable, high-performance front-end features for client facing Portals. Theideal candidate combines solid engineering fundamentals with a working UI/UXsensibility, ensuring designs are implemented faithfully while flagging usability or
consistency issues early. You will work closely with the Senior Design/Developer andbackend teams to deliver modular, maintainable front-end solutions.
What will your tasks involve?
- Design and develop front-end features using React.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling, per approved designs and the company's Design System.
- Build reusable UI components and contribute to shared component libraries.
- Collaborate with the Senior Design/Developer to ensure pixel-accurate, design-faithful implementation.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs / backend microservices.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browsercompatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and production issues.
- Support automated testing (unit/integration) for front-end code.
What we expect from you?
- Strong React.js and TypeScript development experience.
- Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture patterns (component-baseddesign, state management e.g. Redux/Context API).
- Working familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) — able to read, interpret, andfaithfully implement designs.
- Experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Exposure to containerized application environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Nice to have: Exposure to Micro Frontend concepts (Module Federation), basic SQL/database knowledge, financial services or transfer agency domain exposure.
