About the Role
Are you a driven, results-oriented sales professional who thrives on building new business from the ground up? As a Mid Market Account Executive for the UKI region, you will play a pivotal role in driving net-new revenue growth, identifying and acquiring new customers, and expanding our presence in the market.
This is a high-impact, new business-focused role where you'll work with new and prospective customers in complex business environments, devising innovative solutions to address their business processes and data management challenges. You'll engage with senior decision-makers, articulate our value proposition, and close deals in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
This position is remote, with a preference for candidates near London due to customer engagement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a new business sales strategy within the UKI Mid Market segment.
- Own and exceed a quota focused on new customer acquisition.
- Identify, engage, and convert new prospects through strategic prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
- Act as a trusted business advisor to C-level audiences, using in-depth knowledge of our technology, products, and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction.
- Utilize strategic probing to identify, evaluate, design, and propose business solutions.
- Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation, closure, and appropriate post-sale implementation planning.
- Analyze multiple market factors to anticipate and identify customer problems and needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Engage cross-functional resources, including marketing and pre-sales, to achieve goals and drive high-quality pipeline generation.
- Develop and implement account plans that drive attainment of critical business objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand market reach.
- Accurately forecast future sales and track/report on critical sales and account metrics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in complex relationship selling, ideally in enterprise software, data integration, data management, AI, or a related technology domain.
- Strong track record of hunting and closing new business in a Mid Market or similar segment.
- Ability to engage and build confidence with C-level business audiences through expertise, professionalism, and reliability.
- Experience with complex, consultative sales cycles and selling technical platform solutions.
- MEDDPICC sales methodology experience preferred; familiarity with Salesforce and Clari a plus.
- Track record for accurate forecasting, pipeline management
- Passionate about winning new business—a true sales hunter!
