As we
continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic Mid QA Automation Engineer to
join our team.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests and the company’s test automation framework for web and mobile applications.
- Design and execute automated test cases to ensure product functionality, reliability, usability, and performance.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Prepare and maintain test environments, test data, and the infrastructure required for automated testing.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and improve overall test coverage.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test execution, and reporting activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Investigate test failures and defects, identify root causes, and support their effective resolution.
- Promote QA best practices and contribute to improving automation processes, tools, and overall testing capabilities.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
- Experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium or JavaScript-based automation tools.
- Experience with API testing and automation using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Good understanding of test automation methodologies and software testing best practices.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and defect-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Working knowledge of SQL and scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and the ability to investigate complex issues and identify root causes.
Nice
to have :
- Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
- Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or similar.
