Mid/Senior Electronics Engineer
Summary
Designs, prototypes, and tests GPS tracking devices and related electronics for telematics applications, using tools like Altium Designer and LTspice.
We are looking for the Mid/Senior Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Vilnius. In this role, you will work within the electronics innovations team, searching for optimal design solutions to improve innovative products and develop product testing equipment.
Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management across logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. We use the latest technologies to set new standards for the telematics industry.
In this role, you will:
A typical workday will consist of these main functions:
- New device/architecture solution creation, prototyping, and testing.
- Schematic/PCB simulations, deep measurements, and testing.
- Research for new features, innovations, or technology implementation.
- Pre-certification and complex test methodology creation.
- Internal and manufacturing test tool design.
- Schematic design.
- PCB design.
- Various measurements, calculations, identification of problems, and their resolution.
- Prototype tests and the creation of new testing scenarios/automatization.
- Antenna design, measurement, and tuning.
- Collaboration with our production and other departments.
What we expect of you:
- 5+ years of similar work experience.
- Good knowledge of electronics fundamentals for schematic and discrete components.
- Ability to work with Altium Designer (or another schematic and PCB modeling program).
- Experience working with analog and digital circuits.
- Ability to perform circuit simulations (e.g., LTspice or other).
- Understanding and ability to read technical documentation in English.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Good knowledge of LTE, BT, GNSS, and other main wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of high-frequency circuit design rules.
- Experience in antenna measurement, tuning, and design.
- Knowledge of RF and EMC.
- Experience working with vehicle data transmission interfaces.
- Experience using PCB simulation software.

Salary:
We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 20 Eur/h up to 35 Eur/h (~3340 Eur—5840 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
