Mid/Senior Java Developer | Contract
We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer to join a long-term telecom project. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working with microservices architecture, and ensuring high-performance systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java development, solution design, REST APIs, and modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java.
- Work with microservices architecture and contribute to technical solution design.
- Build, maintain, and optimize REST APIs and backend systems.
- Support delivery through CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices.
- Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Apply software security principles and development best practices.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in a long-term project setup.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Proven experience in Java development with a strong technical background.
- Expertise in solution design and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing REST APIs and backend systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and related tools.
- Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Lithuanian citizenship required.
- Fluent Lithuanian.
- English B2+, written and spoken.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working on telecom projects.
