Mid-Senior Level Data Engineer Role

Become a vital part of the team as a Senior Data Engineer in Toronto, ON, working on a contract basis with three days onsite. This role will harness your data engineering skills with a focus on ETL processes. As a Mid-Senior level Data Engineer, you will apply your coding and technical expertise to create and maintain high-quality ETL processes. Your role will include supporting applications, performing code reviews, and using your knowledge in Python, Unix, and databases effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Create and document effective ETL processes • Independently troubleshoot and support applications • Provide estimates and complete tasks efficiently • Review and guide technical consultants’ coding efforts • Propose solutions for identified technical issues Requirements: • Proven experience with Python (2+ years) • 5–7 years in Unix and Windows Shell Scripting • Proficient with Oracle, Postgres, and SQL Server databases • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher • Experience with Airflow or Django is advantageous Bring your data engineering skills to the forefront in this impactful contract role!
