Location & Work Model: Łódź-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month, up to 5 remote days/week).
As a Mid to Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Automation, you will be working for a leading online banking company, supporting a major transformation project focused on infrastructure modernization and automation. This role offers the chance to shape the future of banking technology by leveraging containerization, cloud-native approaches, and advanced automation practices.
Your main responsibilities:
- Administer MS SQL databases and WWW services to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage applications running on Docker containers within Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate software deployment and development lifecycle tasks using Ansible, Shell, and PowerShell.
- Enhance configuration management and system monitoring processes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, administrators, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Maintain and support both Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational tasks.
- Ensure security and reliability across all infrastructure components.
- Analyze system incidents and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
- Support integration and operation of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Zabbix, and Grafana.
- Assist in implementing best practices for system security.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 4 years of practical experience in cloud and DevOps environments.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2 and later, MS SQL Server 2012+, and IIS 10.
- Strong experience with Linux systems, particularly RHEL.
- Proficiency in administering Dockerized applications in Windows and Linux.
- Scripting skills in Ansible, Shell, Batch, and PowerShell.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and Azure.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SCOM, Nagios, Prometheus, Zabbix, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts.
- Good command of English for technical documentation and vendor communications.
- Practical experience with Redis, Grafana, Prometheus, MongoDB.
- Understanding of PKI, cryptographic mechanisms, load balancing, and multi-layer system architecture.
- Openness to continuous learning, precision, and responsibility.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications related to cloud, DevOps, or automation technologies.
- Additional knowledge of Load Balancing mechanisms and network security practices.
Language Required for the role:
- Polish (good command)
- English (communicative level)
