Discussion

We're excited to be partnering with an established creative agency as they look to appoint a talented Mid-Weight Video Editor to join their growing creative team.

This is a hands-on opportunity to create high-quality sports content across a varied portfolio, including social-first content, YouTube, branded campaigns, commercial partnerships, event coverage and longer-form films.

You'll work across a range of sports and sporting stories, creating content designed to engage fans and audiences across digital, social and broadcast platforms. From fast-turnaround match and event content to athlete stories, behind-the-scenes films and campaign work, you'll be responsible for turning footage and creative briefs into compelling content.

You'll take ownership of projects from brief through to final delivery, working closely with the Creative Director, designers, communications specialists and production partners to develop ideas and deliver work at pace.

  • Edit engaging sports content for social, digital, YouTube and other platforms
  • Edit short-form social content, reels and vertical video alongside longer-form features and films
  • Create fast-turnaround event, match and competition highlights, subject to rights
  • Produce athlete and talent stories, interviews and behind-the-scenes content
  • Work with archive and evergreen sports footage to create engaging new content
  • Create recaps, promos and branded sports content for campaigns and commercial partners
  • Edit content for websites, corporate communications and digital screens
  • Develop strong narratives through structure, pacing, sound design and editorial judgement
  • Create motion graphics, captions and other finishing elements using existing brand templates
  • Adapt sports content for different platforms, formats and audiences
  • Manage footage, feedback and delivery across multiple projects
  • Work with internal teams and external production partners throughout the post-production process
  • Use audience insights and performance data to inform and improve future edits
  • Collaborate with creative and communications teams to develop concepts and bring sports stories to life
  • 2-4 years' experience as a video editor, ideally within an agency, production company or similarly fast-paced creative environment
  • Proven experience creating and editing sports content
  • Experience across social-first content, YouTube, branded content and campaign editing
  • A strong understanding of what makes sports content engaging for fans and audiences
  • Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to identify compelling narratives within raw footage
  • Excellent understanding of hooks, pacing, structure and sound
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Good understanding of post-production workflows, media management and delivery specifications
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • A collaborative approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Curiosity about emerging editing technology, AI tools and new creative workflows
  • A genuine interest in sport, culture, design and social media
  • Must be able to travel to and work from the London office twice per week
  • This role is not fully remote
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

If you're a video editor who understands sport, storytelling and social media, and can turn raw footage into content that gets fans watching, sharing and engaging, we'd love to hear from you.

Please apply with your CV and showreel/portfolio.
