*Please note that this position is open to candidates from Lviv.

What we expect

  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst in software development projects, including at least one healthcare or health tech product (EHR/EMR, patient portal, telehealth, practice management, remote monitoring or similar)

  • Hands-on experience across the full BA cycle on at least one project, from elicitation through delivery and acceptance

  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for workflows with several user roles and turning them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria

  • Working knowledge of healthcare privacy and security regulations, mainly HIPAA and GDPR, and the ability to turn them into concrete requirements

  • Basic understanding of healthcare interoperability, what FHIR and HL7 are for

  • Experience writing business and technical documentation: PRD, user stories, BPMN/UML diagrams, data flows, integration descriptions

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and a diagramming or prototyping tool

  • Experience with LLM and AI tools (especially Claude) for project context management, routine task automation, and use on different agentic SDLC stages

  • Experience working in Agile teams and a solid understanding of software development processes and roles

  • Strong analytical skills, especially spotting gaps, contradictions and edge cases in requirements

  • Ability to run interviews, workshops, and walkthroughs with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Attention to detail, plus the ability to see how a feature fits the wider product and the client’s system landscape

  • Ability to own a workstream on your own, with guidance from a Senior BA

  • Real interest in the healthcare domain and willingness to learn its terminology, standards and regulations quickly

  • Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with FHIR R4 resources or FHIR-native platforms (e.g. Medplum), or with EHR integrations (Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth)

  • Familiarity with US revenue cycle concepts: insurance eligibility, claims, CPT/ICD-10 coding, clearinghouses

  • Experience in specific health tech subdomains, such as patient engagement, telehealth, women’s health or mental health

  • Pre-sales experience: preparing scope breakdowns for estimates, discovery plans or solution proposals

  • Background in healthcare (clinical or administrative), QA or project management

  • Claude Certified Associate – Foundations certification or Architect level ones

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business, user and solution requirements for health tech products, including clinical and administrative workflows

  • Map current and target workflows for every user role, and identify where the product sits among the client’s existing systems

  • Turn regulatory and privacy constraints into requirements, and keep them traceable through the backlog

  • Define integration and data requirements with the tech team

  • Take an active part in discovery phases: prepare and co-facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews, then consolidate the findings

  • Conduct market, competitor and domain research, and contribute to the unit’s subdomain overviews

  • Develop and maintain the product backlog: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, priorities

  • Support estimation by breaking scope down into epics and features as input for WBS

  • Set up and maintain the project knowledge base

  • Contribute to the Health Tech unit’s knowledge base by sharing project learnings and taking part in internal sessions

OUR BENEFITS:

  • Opportunity to work with international clients
  • Work from anywhere (fully remotely or in our office)
  • Paid vacations and sick-leaves, additional days-off, relocation bonus
  • Wellness: Medical insurance / sport compensation / health check-up + flu vaccination at your choice
  • Education: regular tech-talks, educational courses, paid certifications, English classes
  • Fun: own football team, budget for team-lunches, branded gifts
  • One of the best IT employers in Lviv (or IT service companies in Ukraine) based on DOU rating
